Janica Smith – Owner

blk_headshot_janica-img-015After 25 years as an administrative assistant in a variety of industries I set my entreprenuerial spirit free and started AdminiSmith in 2007.  I believe that high level assistance should be available to small businesses and solo-entrepreneurs. I enjoy taking care of details and providing the framework that allows creative people to flourish.

I work with professional speakers to manage their calendar and speaking engagements, coordinating their travel and presentation details to allow them to focus on delivering messages to their audiences.

A life long love of reading set the stage for my interest in working with authors.  I had the opportunity to take a course taught by Jan King of eWomen Publishing to be certified as a professional Author’s Assistant. I find it very rewarding to work with authors through the process of writing, publishing and marketing their books.

Always interested in new technology and web-based resources I naturally got involved in social media.  I have a particular affinity for working with “non-techies” to teach them the basics of using social media for getting the word out about their business.

I have provided bookkeeping services to a variety of non-profit organizations, small businesses, and individuals for the last 30 years.  I can help you transform bookkeeping from a necessary evil to a valuable tool for analyzing your business decisions.

I have over 10 years in a variety of direct sales companies. I have held management positions in two different companies and have been responsible for training and coaching other consultants.

I have a wonderful family including my husband Jim, two grown children and two nearly-perfect grandchildren.

I value spending time with them and want to help other business owners find the work/life balance that we enjoy.
